LCA Cricket coaching and Funky Sports team up
to offer young cricketers the chance to develop with the Funky stars and the
superb LCA Cricket coaching team.
LCA Cricket Coaching Ltd and Funky have formed a
partnership to ensure the cricketing community in the South of England can pair
up both excellence in their equipment and excellence in coaching. Cricketers the
world over will know that the right bat can make all the difference to the power
in your cover drive, the timing of your pull shot or helping you ease that
spinner over the top on a Saturday afternoon.
Funky bats have been designed with the help of the pro's
to maximise everything that is good about a traditional piece of English Willow
but with the modern game in mind. To see Sean Ervine stroking the ball
effortlessly over the ropes with his very own Funky Slug would be testament to
this very fact.
LCA Cricket coaching has come on board with the hope that
they can provide the extra knowledge to the cricketers to even further maximise
the use of their equipment. LCA CC with the funky cricket equipment provide
innovative, fun and informative coaching sessions planned and inspired by the
professionals and the professional game.

2011 Winter Coaching Courses in
Hampshire
'LCA Cricket Coaching are running a number of courses this winter to keep you
topped up during the quiet period. These courses will be a fantastic way for
talented young players in the area to hone and improve their skills in
preparation for any trials or squad sessions that may be happening prior to the
season.
The courses will be run by current and ex professional cricketers from within
the Hampshire region giving each and every child an opportunity to learn from
the very best the county has to offer.
The Courses:
Rose Bowl Winter Academy
LCA Cricket Coaching is running a 10 week academy that will be focusing on all
skills, from the basics to more advanced drills and exercises, as well as
fitness elements. Throughout the 10 weeks master class style sessions will be
delivered, and with a very high coach to player ratio each child will get one on
one time with a very experienced and quality coach throughout the course!
The 10 week course will include:
Batting – Skills and Game plan development including using the bowling machine
Bowling - Action safety review and internationally proven drills with video
analysis
Fitness Training & Assessment
Fielding – Competitions and catching drills

Hampshire Bowling Academy
LCA Cricket Coaching is running a 6 week intensive bowling academy that
will be focusing on all bowling skills, from the basics to more advanced drills
and exercises, as well as fitness elements. Throughout the 6 weeks, expert
coaches will be delivering some in-depth content to take each player to the next
level. With a very high coach to player ratio each child will get one on one
time with a very experienced and quality coach throughout the course!
The 6 week course will include:
Internationally proven bowling drills
Action safety review
Video Analysis - with a DVD to take away from the course
Bowling specific fitness training & assessment
Hampshire Pro's - current players giving their tips and advice
